A freight audit (or invoice audit) involves examining a company’s freight bills, adjusting them as necessary, and verifying their accuracy. EZ Loader’s invoice audit feature allows users to audit all invoices that come in and out of their TMS. It automatically maps any entered invoice amounts directly to the amount in the load to find and identify any discrepancies in rates resulting from detention, accessorial fees, or error. EZ Loader’s accounting and audit features, also enables users to set up separate audit requirements (e.g., paperwork that should be included) for each customer prior to invoicing. This streamlines the freight bill audit process, saving time and providing customers with complete and accurate information every time.
